The project I am sharing is something I created for my Product Showcase presentation that I did at our annual Close to My Heart convention this past June. I was so excited when I opened my box of goodies that I was sent to create with and found this beautiful Designed Decor Red Magnetic Chalk Board! I knew right away that I wanted to create a Menu board and looked to Pinterest to find my inspiration.
I took a little time and compiled all my families favorite recipes and some new ones and copied them all into a binder for easy look-up. Then I typed up the meal menu on one side and a simple ingredient shopping list on the other to help make my weekly shopping list easy to fill out. Don't worry that I will be expected to cook 7 days a week because I have a few cards with the option of "Dinner Out" or "Leftovers."
I created some paper Yo Yo's using the Close to My Heart Artiste Cricut Cartridge, glued magnets onto the back of our Ruby Mini-Medly Clothespins, and decorated my board with Snowhaven Embellishments and ribbon. I even included a little Post-It note stack with a small Binder clip to jot down any last minute grocery items or notes.Products Used: Snowhaven paper pack, Snowhaven Assortment, Designed Decor Red Magnetic Chalk Board, Ruby Mini-Medleys, Artiste Cricut Cartridge, Scallop Border Punch, Metallic Neutral Bakers Twine, Cranberry Striped Twill Ribbon
