Simply Inspired New Product Showcase

Welcome to our Simply Inspired CTMH Blog Hop! This month we are celebrating the kick off of  Close to My Heart's newest annual Inspirations book that launches on August 1st and is full of tons of goodness, fabulous artwork and great products.
If you have come here from Michelle's Blog then you are on the right path. The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you'll find the complete list of participating consultants here.

The blog hop is so easy to follow and hop along with us--just by clicking on the link at the end of each blog post to move to the next one!

The project I am sharing is something I created for my Product Showcase presentation that I did at our annual Close to My Heart convention this past June. I was so excited when I opened my box of goodies that I was sent to create with and found this beautiful Designed Decor Red Magnetic Chalk Board! I knew right away that I wanted to create a Menu board and looked to Pinterest to find my inspiration.
I designed my board to be weekly because I knew that I just couldn't be organized to plan out farther then that for our family meals and I like to change my mind and didn't want too many meals planned.

I took a little time and compiled all my families favorite recipes and some new ones and copied them all into a binder for easy look-up. Then I typed up the meal menu on one side and a simple ingredient shopping list on the other to help make my weekly shopping list easy to fill out. Don't worry that I will be expected to cook 7 days a week because I have a few cards with the option of "Dinner Out" or "Leftovers."
I created some paper Yo Yo's using the Close to My Heart Artiste Cricut Cartridge, glued magnets onto the back of our Ruby Mini-Medly Clothespins, and decorated my board with Snowhaven Embellishments and ribbon. I even included a little Post-It note stack with a small Binder clip to jot down any last minute grocery items or notes.
Products Used: Snowhaven paper pack, Snowhaven AssortmentDesigned Decor Red Magnetic Chalk Board, Ruby Mini-Medleys, Artiste Cricut Cartridge, Scallop Border Punch, Metallic Neutral Bakers Twine, Cranberry Striped Twill Ribbon

Now "Hop" on over to Karen's Blog to see her beautiful work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants in the Hop to get some great crafting ideas! Thanks for stopping by!
